Entry Requirements

The Joint Masters in Transdisciplinary Health and Well-being Interventions (MSc. Well) is designed as a study programme with 6 universities, presenting a fully integrated student registration and management system. MScWell is open to graduate students worldwide who hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (180 ECTS) or equivalent certification from any academic field. The program is multidisciplinary and full-time, spanning two years. Our students come from diverse backgrounds, including health-related disciplines such as medicine, nursing, physical activity and occupational therapy, as well as social sciences like psychology, sociology, geography, and political science.
Prospective students must note that the program’s core public health disciplines encompass social and behavioral sciences, exercise sciences and kinesiology, sustainable development, human rights, ethics, and cultural studies. Successful completion of the program may require a satisfactory level of numeracy in some of these disciplines.

In order to be considered eligible for the program, prospective applicants are required to meet certain criteria. This includes:
1.      Holding a university Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent, and providing a copy of their degree either at the application stage or before the start of the course if they are still in the process of completing their Bachelor’s studies.
2.      Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in the languages relevant to their chosen study pathway, by submitting mandatory copies of language proficiency tests that meet the minimum admission requirements described below.
3.      Applicants must submit a complete online application along with all required documents, such as diplomas, certificates, language certificates, letters of recommendation, etc., prior to the specified deadline.

Required Documents

Upload the required documents in your application form. Please ensure that all documents are in any of the MScWell universities official languages. The MScWell Joint Virtual Administrative Office and the Admission Board will only consider applications with all documentation required submitted before the deadline. It is the applicant’s responsibility to make sure that the application form is complete and that all required documents are attached in the appropriate format (PDF). Any application sent after the deadline will not be processed.
1.      Valid ID card: For EU students, national ID or passport can be used. For non-EU students, only passport is accepted. PDF format.
2.      Bachelor’s degree diploma or recognised equivalent: If the diploma is not available yet, up-to-date transcript will suffice. Non-EU students should submit an additional statement from the university recognising that the qualification is sufficient to apply to a Master’s level program.

3.      Academic transcript: Acceptable transcript formats must include the mean grade updated until the last evaluation period (GPA). If the GPA is not included in the transcript, students should submit an additional statement from the university including the grade point average.
*In case of students with multiple degrees (Bachelor’s or Master’s), only the one uploaded will be assessed.
4.      English language test scores with a LEVEL C1: The link provided introduces the English certificates accepted by the consortium. All skills (reading, writing, listening, and speaking) must be achieved at the C1 level, which is the required level. Applicants who have a B2 level will be evaluated based on other admission criteria, but they must reach the C1 level before registering for the program. However, exemptions are given to applicants who come from an English-speaking country or have completed their previous university degree in English at a Bachelor level minimum. They must provide supporting documentation, such as a passport or a certificate from their English-speaking university, to prove their eligibility for exemption.
5.      Curriculum Vitae. (In English. PDF format.)
6.      Video presentation answering three/four predetermined questions.
7.      Two forms of recommendation (to be filled in by your referees).
8.      Inclusivity: If you tick the box, you will be contacted by the Equality and Diversity Officer.

Selection Process

The selection criteria will be assessed based on:

• Academic transcript with the GPA (15 Points)
• Curriculum vitae (15 Points)
• A video presentation answering three/four predetermined questions (20 Points)
• An interview (40 Points)
•  Inclusion (10 Points) To promote accessibility and inclusivity, candidates belonging to under-represented communities (such as those with different age, gender, family status, access needs, migration status, socio-economic background, higher educational background, etc.) may request consideration for an extra 10 points. They can do so by providing a valid explanation and relevant supporting documentation. It is optional for the applicant to declare this situation.

If an applicant has inclusivity requirements and cannot provide a video presentation the
Admissions Board will advise on an alternative method.
